Prom Dud

I wanted to confess that when I was a teenager I had a crush on a girl who really didn't want to have anything to do with me. I stayed on her and stayed on her until ultimately, finally started going out with her. When it came time to take her to senior prom - we were all out that afternoon having a great time and she left to go home to get dressed. I was supposed to leave and go home to get dressed at the same time. However, I didn't... There was another girl who immediately hit on me as soon as that girl left - to the promise of having sex if I stayed out there with her, to which I did.

So, that girl went home, got dressed and ready for her prom, then waited and waited; waited and waited for her prom date to show up... and I never did. From that moment on, I have felt completely terrible for ever doing that. I've tried to figure out ways to apologize, to make up for it. You know... how do you it? If I were to apologize to her now, at this point, it's more for me and less for her. Anyhow, I had to get that off my chest and I appreciate you guys making this line so I could.
